​We were privileged to be the first family helped by Jane and The Butterfly Trust back in 2010 after a horrific incident in the Mara when we were left seriously injured and fighting for our lives.

Following several months of hospitalisation, both of us wheelchair bound, The Butterfly Trust stepped in. They helped us bridge the gap between coming out of hospital and returning to an independent life style back at home. It truly was a transformative time for us both and we cannot thank The Butterfly Trust enough for their compassionate and loving support during our hospitalisation and the many, many months of recovery which followed.

There are simply not enough words to say it all ……… "asante sana" to The Butterfly Trust.
